The State of E-mail

Even sunshine doesn't lure Californians and Texans away from their trusty computer screens. These states lead the nation in their use of Internet e-mail services including Microsoft Hotmail, Google Gmail, and Yahoo Mail. New York, Florida, and Illinois round off the ranks of states whose e-mail habits contribute the most to overall Internet traffic. All together, the top five states account for nearly 40% of all e-mail traffic on the Web.
